MSNNext Does Business Twitter, Renamed To Mangfou
We have got the tips that MSNNext, an overlay social network based on Microsoft Live Messenger, has changed their business model into a Twitter clone. They have also renamed the service to Mangfou, which sounds very similar to another service in this area.
Back in May, founder of MSNNext, Zhang Benwei rolled out NextGroup, which includes MSNNext, 5Sai and Aixinzu. It seems that Aixinzu never launched.
Mangfou is based on MSNNext. So it’s natural that Mangfou supports messaging between second-degree friends. Its privacy option lets you hide certain friends to others. And by default, you are invisible to the public, unless you make yourself public. With these privacy options, Mangfou is considered more suitable for business contacts.
Mangfou also supports image links. It will recognize the link and display image automatically. I have noticed Zuosa is also testing similar features.
To register in Mangfou, you must provide your MSN account. Then its bot will add you and send you activation code. Unlike other Twitter like services, MSN is a must, not an option here.
