Roundup: Yodao, Feedsky, Mofile and Hubotv

Netease officially launched Yodao search: As we reported early, Netease replaced seach service in its 163.com web portal with its proprietary Yodao search engine, previously its search service is powered by Google. In Yodao’s website, we can know Yodao now offers web search, image search and blog search service. However, there is also a news search service in 163.com.

Feedsky rolls out feed CPM ads: Feedsky, popular feed management service provider in China, rolled out its long-awaited feed CPM ads today. The service is still in private test now, publishers should apply for activation of CPM ads. Publishers can choose to only display specific kinds of ads in their feeds, but they are not able to configure the frequency of ads. Feedsky’s Reviewme-like service are welcomed by Chinese bloggers, it is very likely that I will see many Feedsky hosted ads in my rss reader soon.

Brad Greenspan invested in Mofile and Hubotv: Brad Greenspan, co-founder of Myspace, announced that BroadWebAsia has invested in Mofile and Hubotv, both of them are online video sharing websites. It is said that Mofile and Hubotv have 48 million monthly unique visitors in total. BroadWebAsia previously invested in BBMao, a Chinese meta search service.
