Anyp’s Blog social Networking
Sports game is always a good opportunity to promote online service to attract users, so is the coming World Cup 2006. Different from previous years, content generated by bloggers will play a more significant role in the report, for example, Sina published a book based on content from its bloggers, and during the game, Sina will also take advantage of its blogs.
Anyp.cn, a blog hosting service provider based on Guangzhou, started a blog social networking service to aggregate blog posts about World Cup from those soccer fans. Anyp has a feature called Blog Group, bloggers of Anyp can join any groups or create a group as they wish, then when writing a post, they can choose to publish it in the groups as well. Therefore, blog posts with similar topics can be aggregated in the groups and users will have chance to know friends and discuss the interested topics with others.
So taking the opportunity of World Cup, Anyp use its Blog Group function to sets up various groups for 32 qualified teams, fans of those teams can join the group to write post for their favorite teams, discuss the game and build social networking.
I think adding social networking features into blogging platform will be the trend of development of blog hosting service. Blogbus has a similar feature as that of Anyp, I believe that Anyp’s initiative to utilizing World Cup will help to promote its group function and blogging service.

I checked out the Blogbus groups site, but since I don’t read that much of Chinese (especially 简体)I didn’t get it fully. Is that similar to the “blog syndication site” such as “Cyworld Paperzine” (described here: http://www.web20asia.com/2)
Dear reader of this blog, you can find Tangos’ email interview here: http://www.web20asia.com/21
Chang, I think it is similar to Paperzine described in your blog.
