uWorldLet’s don’t forget there’re virtual world products. uWorld, a local virtual world product, we firstly introduced in 2007, then last mentioned it in May 2008, has just opened public beta test.

I’ve got the latest version of uWorld installed, but unlike previous versions, this one is not working.

I get the login screen, and click the big button at the bottom right. Then, after a lengthy wait, I get a blank window, and that’s it. An empty black window.

It’s very difficult to figure out what the problem is since I don’t speak a bit of Chinese. I think the servers are supposed to be updated and running properly now, but it’s hard for me to even determine that for sure.

I tried either and it is not working properly.
What I am wondering is why we still need to download the application — it seems an old school thing for me. I would prefer online based application which I just need to sign in and use it.
To be honest I like Uworld’s idea but questioning on it’s future. It is intersting to see its development though. Good luck!
